This capstone project is a self-published zine that explores the effects that media has on those who suffer from disordered eating. Specifically, it focuses on the experiences of women and non-binary people living within the United States. The piece features the personal stories of seven affected individuals, and interviews with experts including a Doctor of Nutritional Psychology and the Director Of Support Services at the National Eating Disorder Association. I conducted an online survey for this project which had a range of input from 21 individuals across the United States aged 18-24. This zine is featured in the perminent Library of The New School's Archives and Special Collections. You may view a version of it here: https://issuu.com/hmiller2/docs/capstonezine2
